I Wish You Love

I Wish You Love

I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this
I wish you love

And in July a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health, but more than wealth
I wish you love

My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be
So with my best, my very best
I set you free

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love

But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love

My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be

So with my best, my very best
I set you free

I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm

But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love

But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love

Love Series: The Two Responses

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”

I always stuck whenever I think about "Love". I stuck by its mysterious way of changing people. Everyone love any kind of thing in various different way. Some people uttered their love by doing justice, some by doing violent act, some by caring so much, some by kissing frequently, some by showing-off to everyone they met, some by having sex...

But... Are all that things true? Honestly, I don't know the answer. Maybe first of all, we should consider these following questions:
1. What is love?
2. Why we love?
3. How Love works? How we work for it?
4. Who has possibility to love? Whom should be love?

I have no intention to give lecture here, what I want to do just share my view of love,
The quotation showed above is the best quotation ever (so far) I have ever read. C.S Lewis explained love in its depth, and I am amazed by his writings.

We as a human, tend not to show our weak points to other. I know that's natural, and apparently, we do this thing unconsciously. We built our reputation by giving our best performance to the world, and hide our bad character by not showing our true-self to the world. We need advice from others, we are human and we surely need people to help us changing.

This is how love works. Love doesn't work in one person. Love works in each of us. Love is God himself, and in Him alone, love is on its highest climax. We love others as we love ourselves. We love God with all our heart. We are always on the way, but what kind of way are we on?

To love is to be vulnerable.. But there's still a possibility if you want to be invulnerable, Just follow what C. S Lewis said, but don't grief for it's consequences...

New Year Resolution?

As long as I know terms "new year resolution", what I thought in my mind is about what things I want to change and how I change it. I never thought about whom will be my portion to enable me change myself. I used word "God" to make me feel secure, I never thought about God in deeper understanding. It's kinda weird when I was thinking about God deeper and deeper is the time when I less thinking about myself. And the weirder thing is when I was more caring for another, God's love is more expressed through me to others.
So in this new year, what I ought to do is not focusing on making new resolutions. (although I can't totally annihilate it, I have my own expectations too) But what I ought to do is to destroy the self-centered love to the selfless love. God gave me a mate. Surely God not give a  mate that meet my need. But I know that He give me her, for making each of us fully a God-fearing persons.
Finally in this final words, what is my resolution in this year is to prepare myself to be better God-fearing person as a teacher to teach in love, as a mate to struggle together in love, as a son to obey parents as God ask, and as brother for everyone to caring in love..
May Christ's love dwell in our heart.. God bless you..
Happy new year 2015!
